I've recently embarked on a new journey of curating more homemade foods for my family. My first attempt was making homemade sandwich bread and I absolutely loved the process and how easy it was! It also was a huge hit with the hubby!
My latest attempt was homemade mayo. I'll be completely transparent with you, I was influenced by TikTok. So much so that I went online and bought an immersion blender within 5 minutes of seeing my first "DIY Mayo" video!
Now it took me a couple tries to get it right. The first time I didn't use a big enough bowl and it went everywhere! Second time I used way to much mustard and basically threw in the towel on trying to make it. Until, my husband forgot to buy mayo while doing our grocery order and I went "well, I could always try it one more time..." and just like they always say 'Third times the charm!'
It's really a simple recipe, just need to follow it! Don't do what I did and think "measuring spoons? Psh, I got this! I'll just eye it!" I did not have it and my eyes failed me!
