It never fails, one day my house is completely spotless and the next it looks like a wild toddler fueled tornado came through!
The truth is though, most days my house looks like a disaster. Toys dispersed from room to room, dishes pilled high, dirty clothes hamper overflowing, the list goes on and on.
I'm a SAHM, and before you say "well why is your house always a disaster then", I also work a full time WFH 9-5 corporate job. So with that said, I don't have a lot of free time during the day to keep up with the play time disasters and lunch time fiasco's. I try my hardest too, but most days time is against us and I'm barely getting my kiddos down for their naps by the time my lunch break is over.
My husband and I created a Weekly & Daily Cleaning Schedule to help keep us on track with the daily messes that get created and if you are
anything like me, having a physical checklist you can look at and follow will help keep you on track and not get too overwhelmed by all the tasks at hands.
For our Daily task we kept it very straight forward. We included task that we should truthfully be doing every day without a second thought, but some days you just need that little reminder.
When it comes to our weekly schedule, we decided to assign one room to each day and also created a new laundry routine to help us keep on top of the never ending pile of clothes.
We also established a Monthly Checklist on household task that should be getting some extra love at least once a month. For example, Air filters, deep cleaning your fridge and pantry, reorganizing the garage, etc.
